WELCOME TO THE WORLD SEEN THROUGH MY EYES

During the day I am an Engineer for an Office Automation Company. In my spare time I am a 39 year old amateur photographer and web publisher from Shropshire, England. My favorite subjects are Landscape and candid photography both of which fit in nicely with my other main hobbies, traveling, cycling and walking. In the winter months, weekends are usually the only time I get to take photos but in the spring and summer months I’ll often be out in the evenings snapping away. More recently I have discovered High Dynamic Range and Infrared photography. Although this is my photoblog I also have a www.Flickr.com site which is updated almost daily and also http://www.jasondale.com/ where you can find more information about me and what I have been upto lately photographically speaking.

 

For daily inspiration I visit the Chromasia photo blog. By doing so I have learnt a great deal of photoshop tips and tricks from one of today's contemporary photographic masters, David J Nightingale. David's photo blog has been running since 2003 and during that time he has built up a fantastic collection of digital photographic work and at the same time he has developed a community of photographers all aspiring to his his very high standards. Digital photography has made my old enlarger and 35mm photo equipment largely redundant, although I still hang on to it just incase. The internet and photoshop have become my new "dark room" hence the name of my personal photoblog
